Warm, comfortable and with stunning views from the front. An ideal little pied a terre for an adventure around this beautiful part of Cornwall. As a spot for a weekend break goes, can’t be beaten on price, value or comfort.
Loved the pub too - it’s a down to earth locals pub that welcomes visitors too, and serves ample portions.
Would highly recommend.

Fowey is a lovely, typical fishing village however it has the usual plethora of second homes, airbnb and rental properties. It’s not too commercial though. Lots of narrow streets and old buildings.
We visited in March and it was lovely, I suspect that in the high season it will get very crowded. A nightmare to drive through!

Classic Cornish small coastal town nestled on the steep western bank of a creek. Full of character and plenty of real local people as well as tourists. Be prepared for a steep heart stopping climb to the central car par if you miss the Town (mini) Bus which appears every 15 minutes.Highly recommend Bufala Italian restaurant/.pizzeria - don't be put off by drab road facing entrance/waiting area. Pintxo tapas bar looked interesting but could not get a seat.

A very idyllic town, by the river Fowey, especially when the sun is out and sparkling on its surface.
Excellent opportunities to walk along the coast, or to jump on to ferries and visit other towns. Some lovely beaches and coves nearby (Readymoney Cove is lovely and at walking distance from the centre) making it possible to dip into the river. Many links to Daphne du Maurier around the area - although Manderley is private (and under a different name) it’s easy to be enraptured by the atmosphere.
Buses are just a couple and not very regular, but it’s still possible to visit the area even if you don’t own a car.
I truly recommend.

A delightful place to visit.
A delightful place to visit. Wonderful swimming at Readymoney Bay.
Good long Beach for strolling at Par Bay a short drive out of Fowey.
The town of Fowey is charming, set on the River. However the steep walk from and up to the upper part of town is a kittle challenging.
Fowey offers a good selection of restaurants and shops.

Lovely location especially Readymoney beach and the shops & pubs.
Little bit challenging getting to accommodation by car, to drop our bags off, as it’s a single road one way system. So if you miss it you either have to go round again or park up and walk back.

A really compact village/town with everything centrally placed, plenty of choice of drinking or eating places.
Only downside is the carparking on the fringe of the town, you would need to catch the town taxi/bus if you have any mobility problems.
Visit Llanhydrock Place the best National Trust property I've ever entered.
Great views from the bedrooms and bar over Fowey Quay. Excellent staff, extremely friendly, polite and helpful.
Breakfasts were fine with a good options, we also ate in the bar one evening and the meals were good and generous.
There is no parking onsite due to the central location. We parked at Caffa St. car park which is a gentle 10 min walk from the hotel. 24hr parking is very reasonable age £6.50. Suggest you use Just Park app to book.
All meals were fantastic. local produce beautifully cooked and presented. we choice to eat all our meals in the hotel due to the quality of the food and helpful staff.
The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
The size and view from our room was delightful.
We often have short breaks in Fowey, this hotel is our new favourite.....
Amazing hosts, so friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.
The garden is so beautiful and a lovely place for relaxing after a day in Fowey. The property also has lovely family touches that made it feel homely. It was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with homely and interesting touches, and a fabulous breakfast!
I have to say we loved everything about the hotel. The staff were lovely, the view and rooms were beautiful and food fantastic. We actually decided to eat in the restaurant each time we stayed.
We loved our stay so much that we went back to the hotel 3 times during our 2 week break in Devon & Cornwall.
Close to the car parks and just a short walk into the town centre. Modern building in good repair. Had an outside seating area but no view, but as I said you were only a short walk from the local restaurants and pubs. Fowey is one of my favourite locations in Cornwall. Would highly recommend.
Centrally located hotel in Fowey and with a car park (a parking space in Fowey is like gold dust!). Our room was small but perfectly formed, comfortable, clean with a good shower. Nice touches such as good variety of teas and ground coffee. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.
The accomodation was very comfortable. Michaela and Ben are lovely and can't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent. Good location near Fowey. Very steep walk down to the harbour but only takes 15 minutes and is fine if you take your time.
Bob and Joe are brilliant.. Great hosts.. helpful, informative and gave great tips about the area.. especially the pub locations, local walks etc😉👍.
The breakfast is spot-on and locally sourced produce definatly pays off
Cottage was lovely and spotlessly clean. Staff in all areas of the hotel were charming, genuine and really happy yo help. Never met nicer staff. It was my husbands birthday celebration and they really made an effort for us.
The apartment was beautiful, with full facilities for a comfortable stay. It was brilliantly located to make the most of everything Fowey has to offer. Great to have a private courtyard for sitting in the sun.
Air conditioning in the room was a god send. Not many hotels in the UK have this facility.
Location was superb. In the centre with an amazing view of the river Fowey. The staff were very friendly.
Great location in Fowey which is a fun place to stay with lots of lovely shops. Very friendly and fun staff, good selection of beers and breakfast included. Comfortable bed and clean room!
Property is tastefully decorated and in a perfect condition right in the heart of Fowey. The outside area facing the water is a gorgeous place to sit & take in the views.
Lovely traditional old Inn. Close to harbour & centre. Very friendly, hard working staff. Excellent breakfast- a full & varied menu. Comfy bed. Parking on site.
