The ocean view from the room was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The bath in the family room was massive!

I was disappointed with Morecambe because it’s very rundown with lots of closed down businesses and rather shabby looking. It’s a shame because it could be a thriving seafront. The seafront itself is long and well kept just the shops and buildings are not very attractive.

The beaches are graded so that dog owners and children do not have to mix. There is a lovely sandy beach. Clearly the town has seen better days but so much effort has gone into providing such a lovely promenade and other amenities that a few more tourists would raise the profile of the seafront shops. There is a wealth of accommodation for all pockets in the town so it would be a shame not to take advantage of it.

We were only stopping over at Morecambe to facilitate a rental car return the following day.
It was a great place to stop for 12 hours. I don't know if we would have stopped longer by choice if we had the option but it seemed a great place for families with kids.
There is a nice walk along the beachfront and a statue of Eric Morecambe.
There are lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from as well.

The walk along the sea front was very interesting if you read the plaques and information boards. Don’t forget the stone jetty.
Take your picture through the picture frame looking across the bay or even with Eric Morecambe. There is even an artwork trail to follow including a cutout of the lakes which you can see across the bay
Plenty of cafes to call for a pit stop

Morecambe is very quiet at Easter and more suited to older people at this time of year as there is very little to do. However, it's perfect for dog owners. Most of the hotels and pubs allow dogs. The best thing of all was a gigantic ice cream purchased from a combined gift shop opposite the statue of Eric Morecambe. The promenade and stone pier, as well as the playgrounds are easily accessible and there are car parks on the sea front.
For TV sport and American style dining, The Station (opposite the Midland) is hard to beat.

Morecambe has a good selection of restaurants and the oldest pub in Lancashire with a very nice atmosphere, a selection of little independent shops you don't find in any town, we very much enjoyed our visit and would like to go back again
This is a great hotel, in an excellent position overlooking Morecambe Bay. Check in was straightforward. The room was superb. King size room, and bed, with fantastic views over the bay. Lovely little alcove in the room with comfortable chair meant you could relax and watch the sea/bay. Great double shower. Breakfast was very good. Pre-ordered, but very well organised each morning. And the hot breakfast was top quality, great bacon, black pudding and poached eggs in particular. All staff friendly and helpful. Totally recommend this hotel
Last minute night away and we are so happy we choose this lovely apartment. The instructions provided were clear and precise with parking bay included. The entrance was welcoming and on arrival into our apartment No 3 with balcony and outside area with seating. It was warm and welcoming. Everything was spotless and well arranged.
The lounge and dining/ kitchen are bright and spacious. With everything you need. Bedrooms too are roomy and a lovely bathroom with bath and shower over. Plenty of fresh towels.
A really lovely stay. Booked a few days at The Shipping Lanes, in the Trafalgar room. Your own private balcony, overlooking Morecambe bay. Trudi and Alan are incredibly welcoming hosts, friendly and full of useful information about the area.
The family of Great Tits living in the roof would sing me awake, and come fly down to keep me company.
The hotel has a homey feel, with a lot of love and care spent on the decor.
The breakfast is absolutely amazing. Brilliant. Superb.
Highly recommended.
morecambe has gone down the toilet since my last visit 3 years ago, i thought i would give it another visit especially as this hotel was at a great price and in a good ish location even though i dont like the south of the resort. and well it was horrible not the hotel the area full of drunks screaming at each other and everywhere was just scruffy and didnt feel safe. shame as i used to like morecambe, will it change with the multi million injection of cash erm no it wont.
Excellent hotel with friendly staff and service . Breakfast very tasty with choices of cereals and full English . Whole hotel was very clean and lovely furnished throughout .
It is in a great location on sea front with its own car park round the back .
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone venturing to stay in Morecombe.
Situated right on the seafront with free parking available nearby, the Broadwater was an excellent choice for our few days in Morecambe. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view over the Bay and was testified with treats every day! Breakfast provided a wide range of options and made a really good start to the day.
Lovely little holiday home. Very cosy and very clean. Limited parking but its manageable. Central location, 3 minutes walk to seafront and the dog friendly Morecambe Hotel is virtually next door. Loved our stay house is cosy and well mantained. Its central and superb value for money
The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was exceptional. The room was quirky, unique and a fabulous size. The view from the room was unique and breath-taking. We visited the spa at their sister hotel and had a relaxing time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The location of the Midland Hotel is stunning and the hotel makes good use of this with a curved glass frontage for spectacular views over the bay while dinning. Staff were always pleasant and helpfull but we felt inexperienced and overwhelmed at times.
Nicely decorated, lovely bedroom and en-suite, friendly staff, excellent meal & breakfast, welcoming bar , nice ales. Great location. Exceed our expectations and just the job for a stop over.
Definitely book again. Weldone Morecambe hotel 👍
Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfasts with a wide range of choice; the muffins with scrambled egg and smoked salmon were delicious. My room at the front of the hotel had an amazing view out over Morecambe Bay.
The hotel itself was a quirky little gem set just outside of Morecambe. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly be revisiting the hotel again in the future.
Lovely hotel overlooking Morecambe bay. Recently renovated. They also have facilities to store bikes. Iron, hairdryer, fan all in the room. Tea and coffee in the room. Car park with cctv attached to the hotel.
The breakfast was excellent and the hotel location was perfect on the sea front and in walking distance of bars and restaurants all in all a great little hotel.
