Wonderful stay. The room was spacious and well equipped, super comfy bed and newly furnished. Staff was very welcoming and responsive. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. 10/10 Highly recommended!

With panoramic views of Kenmare Bay and the Kerry Mountains, the luxurious, 4-star Parknasilla Resort & Spa features a 9-hole golf course and a spa with a swimming pool, thermal suites, and outdoor... The location is stunning, you should see it to understand it… there are many hiking routes and you get a map at the reception to be able to follow them. Unfortunately we did not have the time to see them all (we stayed only 3 days & the weather was not nice), so we have to go back :) The swimming pool, saunas are also nice, definitely worth a try. We found the programs also interesting, but unfortunately could not try them. Food is great, room is beautiful & clean. It is a hidden gem. We enjoyed our stay! Our room was a really good size and quiet despite facing onto the main road. Breakfast was excellent and thanks to Irene's recommendations, we had a great night in the nearby village (2 minutes walk away) visiting the local hostelries. She also gave us directions to a stunningly scenic back road (not on the Wild Atlantic Way) over the mountains to Glencolumbkille, which was a real highlight of our weekend in Donegal.

The Loft is right in the center of town, but I could only tell from the amount of people in the ground floor pub. The hotel above was very quiet and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been kinder, helping find shelter for the bicycle I was riding along the Wild Atlantic Way. The trad breakfast in the pub was terrific. One thing to note is that there are many stairs to get to the rooms, so take caution if you have ambulatory difficulty. If you are staying in or passing through Ballina, stay here; I would again.

A romantic ending to a super motorcycle trip doing the Wild Atlantic Way with my partner. Super room as I'd booked a suite for a romantic surprise. We ate in the hotel bar, which was lively and lots of families enjoying a Sunday evening together which was wonderful to see. The bar menu was very well thought out, our evening meal was wholesome, tasty and very well presented. I'd recommend staying and eating here. The staff are attentive and very knowledgeable too. The hotel has lots of little nooks that you can slip into. At one stage people started signing in the bar and it was nice to be able to go elsewhere so that we could chat without us disturbing them and them disturbing us. The location was remote which suited us perfectly. There were some great locations close by for walking and eating but you needed a car to get to them - we did not eat in the hotel as we wanted to check out food in various locations on the Wild Atlantic Way.
